Data Deletion Instructions

Your control over the data we hold about you is important to us. You can request the deletion of the personal data and WhatsApp data that Soukbot holds about you at any time, and we will process every request within 30 days. This page explains how to submit a request, what we delete on your behalf, and the limited cases in which we may need to retain certain records.

1. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your data, send an email to info@soukbot.com from the email address associated with your Soukbot account. Use the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include the WhatsApp number or WhatsApp Business Account ID linked to your account so we can locate the corresponding records.

After we receive your request we will verify your identity (typically by replying from your account's registered email address) and then permanently remove the associated data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

2. What we delete

Upon verification of your request, we permanently delete:

  • Your Soukbot account profile and seller information.
  • The connection between your Soukbot account and your WhatsApp Business Account, including the WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID, and any access linkage.
  • The WhatsApp conversations and messages stored by Soukbot on your behalf.
  • The WhatsApp message templates you created through Soukbot.

3. Data retained for legal reasons

In a limited set of cases we may retain certain records — for example, financial transaction records, anti-fraud logs, or other data we are legally required to keep — for the period mandated by applicable law. If any data is retained for these reasons, we will inform you in our confirmation email and delete it as soon as the legal retention period ends.

4. Third-party processors

Where we use third-party processors to deliver the service (for example, Meta Platforms for WhatsApp messaging or Amazon Web Services for hosting and storage), we instruct them to delete the relevant data from their systems in line with their standard data-deletion timelines. Note that WhatsApp message content held by Meta is subject to Meta's own retention policy.

5. Confirmation

Once your deletion request has been fully processed, we send a confirmation email to your registered email address summarising what was deleted and any records retained for legal reasons.
